Chilean techno-pop duet Nansim! was formed by sound engineer Nano Castro, who was previously participating in a project called Ultragroove, joined by pop singer Katte Moyano, soon recording their first song, "Te Quiero Junto A Mi." In 1999, Nansim!'s first disc, called Dance Now, was released and the duo had the opportunity to perform beyond Chilean frontiers for the first time on March 18, 2000, in Córdoba, Argentina. That same year, Party Time was recorded.
